Default finally painted the gsr

well this weekend my buddy painted my gisser. it looks amazing. were almost done we just have to put some of the exterior items back on sand the clear with 1500 put another coat of clear on and then wet sand with 2000 and then polish and then it's gonna be blinging heres some pics i can't wait to put it back together. sorry about pics they don't really show how shiney it is and the lighting sux.









the painter let me lay some primer down.

Wow, you guys are true DIY'ers. You painted your car in your own garage. Weren't you worried about getting dust and other particles on the paint while it dried?

well we tack ragged it and cleaned it before paint everything was wet sanded so there wasn't alot of dust and it still needs to be sanded so it will take out any dust and then i have to air out everything and make sure everything in the air is gone.

yah man it was tuff alot of cleaning and sanding but it's gonna look good when it's all back together i also welded on new quarters as well and shaved the antena,emblems,keholes, and rear squirter

well it seems like it's taken forever the cars been in the garage since december. it took 3 days but we should have been done but there was a few mishaps.
