Default cleaning the engine

i already searched, and noone said anything about the battary..should i remove the battary when cleaning my engine bay...just curious, im kinda paranoid im gonna **** some thing up, thanks

Also, make sure you cover up everything else that could be potentially damaged with water such as the distributor and alternator.

dont directly spray any wires, connectors, air filter, injectors, alternator or dist..i just steamcleaned my motor today, helps having a 400 degree steamcleaner available for use

Listen all u have to do is cover your distributor cap.i used to detail cars and thats all they made us do at thier dealership.take a plastic bag and cover the ditributor cap.Leave the car on.spray some all purpose on everything scrub it down.if its good all purpose all you have do do is rinse it off and your done.

I have one too...but it's an older one. SteamGenie is the name of it. It does work wonders.
