You have to cut the cig. adaptor off split the two wires and run them to a switch which will then run to your under dash fuse box on a empty hot spot OR your battery (with a fuse inlet dont wanna fry the little neon wires )

i have them installed underneath the front dash on both driver and passenger sides, i bought a dual cig. adaptor and hooked both neons up, then hid the adaptor underneath the dash, it still sux though because i cant charge my phone or shit without unplugging the neon setup... =( Max Windu : yah i just got some 12's n i was thinkin of puttin some neons in my trunk as well, im not sure though because i wanted to hook them up so that they turn on only when i open the trunk but if too complicated wutever, i still dont know how to hook them up from the trunk anyways so if anyone can help that would be great!

your best bet is to stay away from neons. i have no problem with wanting to some accent lighting in your ride, but i did mine with gauges. looks good and they are functional as well. your ride=your choice. just my opinion man.

I had them under the dash also Under the footwell area, I didn't like it after a day and put them in my sub enclosure. I have it hooked up to the trunk light- when the trunk opens, they turn on. Blue neons :wiggle:
