Default getting rid of pinstripes?

are the pinstripes on a 98 civic painted on or sticker.....can i get them off myself without leavin behind a ghost trail

i believe there are piun striping removal solutions out there but the problem is that the location of the stripe will be darker due to the faded paint on the rest of the car.

If it's a sticker, use a hair dryer to warm it up and peel it off. Chances are, there will be marks, but a full detail process would make it less noticeable.

mine took so so so long to get off. Its a 95 and they were baked on. heat didn't help and my lack of fingernails made the situation worse. Worth it though, just peel little by little and pray that you can get a long strip of with gentle pulling after you start it

I took my pinstripes off of my 92 last year. I still have pinstripes if you look close. It's amazing how much the paint fades.
