I want to get some black housing altezzas but tint them out to be darker so that they almost look stock only with the round lights. Dark like the 98-2000 all red lights. I have heard of sanding and using the tinting paint. Any detailed instructions or other ideas

I respect peoples opinions but in my question I am brain storming how to make some custom tail lights. Be open minded. People usually love the all red stock tail lights or don't really care. I just want a modern look with the round tail lights. Something like the supra. Damn they are hot. But anyway. I am thinking of baking these apart and masking the circle parts of the outer plastic peice.....then painting it solid black from the inside. Then.......using the transperent paint to create a red and orange circle or two red circles and leaving the reverse clear. OR just leaving the holes clear so the lense cane be seen. Hopefully giving it this look

your car is a Honda, not a Supra. Euro ITR tails are best IMO

 

^yup get the euro integra tails. They're different. Look just like 98-01 tails except the turn signal is clear. altezzas look cheap when they don't come oem on the car.

Turn signal is clear? Are you sure you don't mean amber. I am guessing that you are talking about the all red ones. Yeah those are cool and all but damn if everyone has em. Don't the domestic type r tail lights the same as the jdm tail lights?
If I am wrong post a picture of these JDM tail lights.
And I know my car is not a supra and nor do I try to make it look that way. I just want an original look that still flows with the car.
