Default Vertical Doors

I'm loookin to convert my doors to open up lambo style. Now all it is is hinges and it is one of the most exaggerated modifications as of late. Im from NYC and they rip you off to do them. about how much do they cost to install in everyone's town? Does anyone have them and can tell me how much they paid? thanks

You probably won't find anyone here who has 'em. I know people in my town make fun of people who go to that extreme. This is the kind of stuff that coined the term "ricer". Unless your car is for showrooms, stick with the original doors. They'll cost you anywhere from $2,500 to $4,000 unless you find the kit used on eBay, and the guy selling probably took his off because people were laughing at him. I don't mean to be rude, I'm sure you're cool.

Keep your money for performance mods. And stay away from spinners.

I have thought about doing it. Decah Kit was costing $1500 a couple years ago for the full conversion Kit.

Decah kit is prob the best non custom made kit out here, but it is still garbage. Autolock also makes a kit, but at the shop we managed to mangle at peice of shit in about a week. I would rec. straying from this mod. If you pay for it you can get it done right. The doors dont open that way for a reason, and to do it right it should be done professionally. Even then its a silly waste of money.

The main reason for not doing it shouldn't be because it is expensive to have it done right. It should be because it's depressing to see a kid hop out of his lambo doors and trying to look like he is cool.

Unless you have a lamborghini, you should stay away from lambo doors. Suicide doors maybe - those are more feasible and don't scream "ricer" quite so loud.

There is a company in Dayton, OH that makes a really nice kit for 600 bucks It's a very easy install & i've seen them in action. They do great work. I believe they will ship the kit for under $50 if thats what you looking to do. They advertise it as a 2hr install & they claim to do it in their shop in just over an hr. might want to check them out. i think the company is called Dayton Imports.
