It's your car, but keep in mind the word proportions.

Anytime you get big wheels on a civic, I think it looks a bit strange. Keep in mind that as the size of the wheels get bigger, it means more weight. This will rob you of horsepower. If you have a stock engine on your dx, you'll need every little horsepower you can get.

AGain, it's your car, do what you want w/ it.

18s is pretty general.......what are the size and offsets? What tires are u going to run? Do you have modified suspension? In a general sense, yes 18s will fit the civic, but there is a difference between an 18x7 and a 18x12

I have 18x7.5 with a 45 mm offset on my 99 Coupe Fits fine with very few issues. Also lowered 1.8 inches

18's will fit a civic if given the proper fittament

every one is right but it can cause a strain on your tranny to much for a long peroid of time can cause costly damage ......you usualy dont want to go 2 inches above factory limit for peak performance ...for weight and horse power reasons.....but it may look cool just dont go to try and race on wagon wheels or your gonna get burnt

it will seriously take alot of power away. a friends cousin has 18's on a 01 civic EX. it was wayyy slower that the original 15's. a 15 pound 15' rim will be alot faster than a 15 pound 18' rim. rotating mass.
