Default Painting white rims?

I have a white 91 integra LS with white rims and i have been thinking about painting them a different colour. What would be the best way to prep the rims before painting them? (sanding etc) and also what is the best type of paint to use and also any other tips like how to get an even coat would be much appreciated.

Have a really nice powder coating job done on them, it'll be worth it. As for the color, i suggest silver or gunmetal.

Spray paint will chip. Even the good kind. And since the wheel is right under the fuel filler cap, gas can get on the rim and you gotta do it all over. Or settle with a patching job.
Powder coating is the best bet. You can talk to one of the people who actually do it and find out if doing some prepping yourself will save you any money.

if you are doing it yourself, try gaining access to a bead blaster, and then primer...
