Default Integra side moldings and sideskirts...

I was thinking about taking the door moldings off and the plastic sideskirts off my 95 2 door integra. I am doing a complete respray and wanted to know if there are holes underneath either of these pieces? Are the just glued on or bolted on? What is underneath them?

Anyone have any pics with them removed?

youll have to put the side skirts back on believe me, and as for you side molding it may or may not have holes depends on if its the tape type or clip but integras look weird with out side moldings believe me i took mine off and they went right back on

if you take the side moldings out there are going to be holes, My friend has a 95 teg and he took the moldings out and there are about 7 or 8 holes on each side. The side skirts has 2 screws and the rest are clips

What I would do is:
Remove moldings and side skirts, paint under them, then paint the moldings and sideskirts themselves.

type r's dont have side moldings, do you think they look weird? keep the side shirts on, or just get the optional ones that go up in the back, and shave the molding. its not that hard about 8 holes on each side. :thumbup:

do the type r's not have side moldings? i thought they were the same color as the car I never noticed.

no the type r's don't have the side molding...I took my side moldings off and for temporary i put white duck tape over each hole...doesn't look to bad but i gotta get it filled somehow. Some pics :drool:

bondo will take care of that. and you can do it your self just gotta make sure you sand it down to set it flush with the pannel.
