Default Which Xenon bulbs are the best??

I'm thinking about buying a set of xenon gas filled bulbs for my 02 Accord V6 coupe instead of doing a full HID conversion. The reason being that I don't have the kind of money needed to do a full conversion at this time. But I do need brighter illumination for my car..the stock halogen bulbs just doesn't do it for me anymore. Also, would it make more sense to get both the 9005 & 9006 bulbs for both high and low beam setup? I'm hoping someone has an idea about this. All info will be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Those super White Bulbs are crap...They will blow on you in a short amount of time.
I've seen the Sylvania SilverStars. Those seem to be brighter than the stock bulbs.

Honestly, I went that route, not wanting to spend money on an HID kit.
I kept blowing the bulbs etc....and at the end I got an HID kit and I wish that was the first thing I did.

Then dont buy a halogen bulb with a tinted coating on top of the bulb. It may look whiter, but it'll produce less light output than the bulbs you have now do. The Xenon gas filled part is all advertising. The blue effect is from the glass coating. If you want real lighting performance, dont waste your money.

I liked the OptiBlue bulbs, particulary the higher wattage version. But they will burn out within a year. You may want to suplement a blue bulb with a good driving or fog lamp.

In terms of doing both high and low beam, well it's up to you. Do you intend on driving around with your high beam on all the time? I personally don't like drivers that drive around with their high beams on like they are wearing shades or something.

Save up and get a HID retrofit if you want improved vision and the look. I did.

I have the Sylvania Cool Blues in both the dims and highs...they are definitely better than stock and far more affordable than the Silverstars. I have had them in for a year and a half and have had no problems, they are great.

in my opinion, i would just save your money until you could afford HIDs. i just recently picked up a retrofit for my 6th gen accord. consists of Hella balasts, Osram d2s bulbs, and bmw e46 projectors. i haven't had time to install them though. they're just sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. they sure do look sexy though when i look at them.
