smoked taillights
hey, i am the owner of a 98 civic ex and i was wondering if anyone on these forums have smoked the white/yellow part of their taillight black? i originally wanted to just put the si red/whites but i haven't seen many civics with smoked taillights. i was just wondering if anyone here has done it before or if there are any guides on the internet. thanks in advance

I haven't done it to my car, but I did help out my friend on his A4. We just went to a "hobby shop" and bought transperent black paint for model cars. Make sure that you get transperent, cause I know of peopel who have made that mistake before :rick: . So far, its been almost a year, still holding up strong, no fading or streaks. You can either take off the tailight, or spray the exterior and mask it off with tape and newspaper. good luck.
