Default Finally...New Gunmetal Rims!!!

Well yesterday (thursday) my friend and I (madhandles03) painted my rims gunmetal. There are a million threads on how to do it so we chose the article off TI.net to follow. I think they turned out perfect thanks for Andrew's master painting skills! . Took us about 6-7 hours and the only problem we had was at the very end when we couldnt get the car back on the ground and get the jacks out :ghey: Finally we ended up using my neighbors big ass hydrolic jack. Hope you like the new wheels guys! I sure as hell do
Here is a before picture:

SHOCKER!! (that's andrew btw )

Looks good. Kinda :chuckles: because it looks like there is overspray all over your garage floor.

haha...nah thats just dirt...we did a pretty good job of keeping everything covered. Overall I was happy with how they turned out, considering I had never attempted to paint wheels before. IMO it makes a big diff...changes the whole look of the car...now all that is needed is an ITR lip and CF hood

Yeah definatly a cf hood and itr lip are on there way soon. I will post more "scenic pics" sooner or llater cause those pictures don't really do the car justice

Is there a DIY floating around on HAN for painting wheels? I was thinking if not we could probably put one together cus we took quite a few pics of the process.

I say we make our own, that one looks a little out dated and the process we used seemed a lot simpler...except taping off. But other than that it seemed pretty easy, plus it doesnt hurt to have a master painter with you
