Default Flat Black Paint Job?

I wanted to get my car repainted flat black but I was wondering how well it would stand up. Does it stain with oil or chip easily? And how hard is it to keep it clean? And Approximately how much would it cost to paint my car flat black? btw its a 99 SSBP GSR. :irock:

Don't do it. It's such a horrible trend among trends you'll be hating it later on. And you can say bye bye to your cars value.

I agree. It works for a shop truck or beater, but not for a street car. I think I may do it to a race car if I end up picking up an old hatch, but that's the only app I can see doing it on. jmo

Yeah don't do it. The only cars I think look good in flat black are the old school Toyota Corolla twin cam joints.

the only car I have seen that would make me want to do a flat black paint job is the Skunk2 Frankenstien K series Si project car. But it was professionally done, and the finish could never be compared to what you get with spray painting from a can, flat black. h:

Not to mention your car is the most sought after GSR color. Don't do it.

You might be able to pull it off with an older Integra or Civic (I've seen some nice ones) but with a 99 GSR, it'll just look cheap.

Thanks for all the input guys. I think I'll just repaint my car SSBP with a vibrate white pearl :irock:
