I'm torn. I'd love to polish it, but I know it won't stay that way long and I know it would take me weeks to get it right. I've cleaned it up and I'm wondering if I should paint it or just leave it raw?

Thoughts? If I should paint it... what color?

 

Polish would be nice. I always thought painting a block would look really good but the few attempts I've seen at it look pretty bad.

 

Well if you polish it your gonna spend hell of a long time on it. But Im the type that once Im into it I don't stop till it's right. If you had to paint your block I'd say White but then white is the on the wrong side for a block. So paint it red. Can't go wrong with red. or even black.

 

eh just leave it, paint will look like shiet too. either raw or polish. in this route, leave it raw.

 

dip it in chrome! lol i dunno... id leave it unless u had time to polish it

 

all the domestic guys paint their blocks, you should go with red. I think red blocks on honda's are sessy

 

I think that red would be overkill since the accents in my bay are red now. I thought about black, but that might be too subdued. Then, I thought about black with the ribs polished... thoughts?

 

id say you should just leave it raw. what color would you paint the head though if you paint it? same color as the block? i just think painting the block would look a little bit goofy.

 

I'd say either not paint it, or paint it a shade of grey (black too).

 

I like the black with polished ribs idea. I think it would look quite loverly with the red accents.
