where have people bought their type r grills and lips from at a reasonable place, and more importantly, how do they fit.

i've seen all the $30.00 lips on ebay, how do those fit? Should I just get the $100 lips at higher end sites?

please let me know you're experiences.

 

The $100 and $30 lips are the same. All made from same companies. They are what you pay for, fitment isn't perfect but close enough that you can make it fit right.

I bought mine from Autodynamic.com a few years ago before they were readily available on places such as eBay. I since then sold the lips.

 

I bought a Mugen lip on eBay for $40, but the shipping was $50. Most of the times when you see fake Mugen lips for $90-$100 they are shipped prices so it all equals out the same in the end. It looks and fit pretty good though, You can kind of see it in the link in my signature.

As for my grill, OE Honda baby.

I think it's funny because those $30 lips on ebay charge like 50 bucks for shipping so you're gonna end up paying somewhere near $100 for the lip anyways. I got my "Type-R" lip from jdmshit.com for $85 shipped. The fitting is a little tight, but it just needs a little manipulation to get it on.

 

I used to think that they were full of it for charging that much for shipping, but then after I sold the same lips, I know shipping alone is $35-50 because the box is pretty large.
