Default Installing Wide Body

I was just curious as to how shops install wide bodies. Is there an adhesive on the wide body that sticks to the car and then you just mold it or is it just held on by molding the edges? Please explain as detailed as possible as to how you get those pieces on securely as I will be putting some on my car soon and would like to know how to do it properly. Thanks for all the help provided.

I worked at a body shop for 2 years. The wide body kit double side taped and screwd on and after molded to close all tha gaps and everything up.

I finally found out how they put the widebody on the cars. They use a very strong adhesive such as liquid fiberglass otherwise known as resin fiberglass. Very strong adhesive I must say. I went to a buddy of mines car and kinda tugged on it and it was stuck on there good. The adhesive can also be used for things like the 3 piece wing kits for hatchbacks. Thanks to all who replied.

double sided tape?!?!?

Are you nuts, what body man attaches fenders, and rear quaters panels by double-sided tape? I would love to know what body shop does this?
