Any of you cacs know where to get stuff powdercoated? I'm guessing it's gonna be somewhere in East County, but I need to know shop names/numbers, etc. Thanks.

Yeah, I saw that thread in the basement with the valve cover. But I was hoping for something local as I don't want to deal with shipping (it's pretty big). As much as I'd like for him to do the work, I think that the shipping is gonna kill me. :happysad:

 

He did my V.C. man, and it was freaking tight as F@#%. He was half the price of ANY of the local shops here, so depending on what you are wanting P.C.ed you might save money even with shipping. The local shops around here wanted 90 to P.C. it and another 20 to clean it. He did it for 50, plus ten shipping each way. that was a total of 70 (including cleaning) as opposed to 110 plus 45 minutes of driving...and with the crazy gas prices...well you see. Give him a buzz, he will do you good.
