Default Removing 5th gen stickers

Whats the safest way to remove the "civic" sticker on the rear of the 5th gen models?

heat gun and some time....also a plastic spackle thing will help out...jesus I cant think of its real name..I feel retarded right now.

i've never really used a heat gun before, i know its basically like an industrial hair dryer which is able to cook your hand. how far do you hold it away from the sticker? and for how long etc.

Just use a hair dryer on hot. Heat gun might kill you :chuckles:

Then follow up with goo gone, then wash.

I think you mean a putty knife.

Anyway, I used a razorblade and some sandpaper to get the sticker of my RX-7, which is the same basic deal as the stock Civic stickers. Then again, I am priming and painting my car.

Hair Dryer and a putty knife...

Heat sticker, begin removing with knife a little, heat more of it, remove more, heat, remove...basically keep doing over and over till its off

use a powerwasher. takes the shit right off. follow with a little de-greaser, wax. enjoy

easiest way, fishing line. Also to get the sticky off dont use goo gone, it doesnt work as good as pb blaster and is more expensive and it cant be used to oil things. Use pb blaster to take it off.
