Civic-R shift knob
Ok, I have a chance to buy a Civic type-R shiftnob.
Ive seen alot of replicas, how do I know if its an original. I know that even the replcias screw on. It has the red #'s on top and is titanium. Is there anything I can look for to check if its authentic?

If its real, its bitch ass $$, so why would you worry about getting an authentic one... its a knob.. and so many can come close to it, or even better... its like buying the MUGEN valve cover... is it worth the money?
Visually, you can't tell. Too many knock off's out there and they are GOOD. The only way to know for sure is to buy it from somewhere reputable or seeing it in person.

most knock offs i've seen are flat on the top
real one is egg shaped, oval near the top.
the red in the lettering is darker than most.
i had the fake one, but loved my tiny spoon one the most.
