Cuz they only make 74's in LED's, and not 24's. But 6th gen's have 5 24's!

I know this is a dead thread but I just got around to doing this and need to know how many bulbs I need for a 99 Civic EX with a manual tranny. Where are the exact locations for the bulbs I need to take out? I dont want to mess anything up.

I did it and you need 1 194 bulb and 4 24's. My question is what kinda bulbs do I need and how many for the C/C and how do I get to them?

You just need the regular bulbs...the 12V ones. They should be available at Wal-Mart or Autozone in the US.

You said....4 size 24s....in the diagram of the cluster's back side posted above..i can see at least 6 slots marked with 'gauge light'....i am including the two on the top edge. They are meant for the needles i suppose. Is that right?

The 3W Gauge lights are #24
3.4W gauge lights are #194
1.4W gauge lights are #74 (for the front to illuminate the needles)

There are blue transparent thing blocking the bulbs, it wont really help to replace those.
