ok, a year ago i got these wheels from icw. they are 17" icw dv8's not long after i got em, about 3 wks,went to the car wash and the paint blew off of the wheel. they wouldn't back em.DICK'S so the guy that sold me the wheels said that he would powder coat em for me for 20.00 a pce. what color would look good? i need to know by 4-12-04

 

I'd say something dark like black or gunmetal.

I was originally going to suggest like a gold or bronze color, but that doesn't seem right with a wheel with no lip. But that's me though...

Is he planning on removing the tire to powdercoat the wheels or is he just gonna do it with the tires on?

 

i have to get the tires taken off in the a.m. i was thinkin gunmetal also...

Gunmetal. They have to take the tires off, they bake the wheels. $20 a wheel isn't a bad price at all. I'd probably just spray can it, but powder coating will hold up a lot better.
