New Valve cover
This is how it look when i got it. It was a mixture of Black and yellow. There was 1 layer of black and abour 2-3 layers of yellow (picture care of Spike)
This is the valve cover during stripping. I used some aircraft grade stripper. MMM yummy
This is the valve cover after done stripping. I had some redisudual yellow left over. I just scuffed it up.
Then i put some of my Cherry chapstick over the rasied "H", "VTEC", and "HONDA" also around the gasket area for the valve cover bolts and the oil cap.
This is the finsh product. I paint it with Ford Engine Block Grey. I did 3 coats of it. Now i have to wait 8 days for it to cure. Most people will ask me why did i use Grey, and on top of that why Ford Grey. I wanted something different then what everyone else was doing IE: Red, Blue, Black. So i went with grey. And the ford one was all i found and i liked the color
