A cool thing to do with a slow shutter speed is take a picture of you car by a street or highway that has moving cars so they get blured.
edit: Do you one a tripod? They are crucial to having really slow shutter speeds.
I have it on my "to do" list to get a tripod. To take that pic, I layed the camera on the base of the light pole there. You can see it in one of the other pics.
I'm not big into AIM. I have it, but I hate using it. I can never get away from it once I get on and I'm usually in need of doing something else... :hugglez:

here's some pics i took for a friend i have canon a70 or something i dono lol but i think they came out well and i don't have previous experience
only took a couple seconds lol so i think i could do better...i'm just waiting for my car to get out of the paintshop so i can start taking pictures of it!
