Default Carbon Fibre Care Questions

What is the best way to take care of a carbon fibre hood. Like do you wax it polish it. I searched and really couldn't find any difinitive information. So I figured this would be the best place.

I think the best thing that you could do, is once you get it, go to a shop and have them clearcoat it. Once that is done, you could treat it as if it was a regular painted hood.

Any other suggestions, besides getting it clear coated what is the best way to keep it looking good. I have read waxing is bad, someone said use like the wax they use on boats. Come on guys.
