non-white wax???/ HELP!!
I desperately need a NON-WHITE wax for my 96 white Integra. I can NEVER see it well enough to buff it all off. Is there ANY wax that does not go on/dry white?
Please help, the finish needs it...

What...? you want to wax your car with black wax? Not going to happen my friend. Good car wax is made from carnuba. Carnuba is yellow. When its been refined a bit you get white, or ivory carnuba. Sometimes they just add fillers to the wax. The fillers help hid the swirls and scratches. If you are looking for a darker color wax then the best you are going to be able to do is yellow. The more high quality the wax, the whiter it gets. Its just sort of our plague for having a white car. You have to make some concessions. Check the link in my sig. You can get a white car to shine like a black car if you use the right stuff. Everything that I use on that car is tough to see. It just takes a little more time than a dark car, but the results are worth it.
You have to remember that yellow wax isn't Yellow like a lemon. Its just a little darker than a more pure wax. Meguiar's makes a good yellow wax. #26 I think. I can't remember. Its labled "Yellow Wax" though. Check for it at like Checker or PepBoys or AutoZone or something. www.premiumautocare.com might have it too. They are about to get big into Meguiar's products.
Not a problem. Here is what you are looking for I think. http://www.properautocare.com/megno26hitye.html Check out www.autopia-carport.com if you have any other questions about wax. They might be able to suggest something better than I can.
