Rice or nice....
Ok...here's the deal. I own a 95 Civic and an 03 VW Jetta. So, I browse this forum and VWVortex also. I've found it funny to see, when I started browsing there, that what most of us sane Honda owners consider "rice", a lot of VW owners love and think it looks "euro". I've got one example in particular that I needed to share wiht you all. Here's a thread from VWVortex - http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1092923 .
I think this car is rice, but the owner, and several others on the forum think that its nice. Mind you, the owner seems to think that just because someone owns a Japanese car, it is automatically rice and his handle is "Riceh8ter", which I thought was ironic. So, the big question is....does the Honda/Acura enthusiasts think this car is rice?? Share your opinions.

both yalls cars are lookin kinda rough, no offense or anything but on the first one the body kit + altezza's = rice and on the second one you have lamp shade wheels that I wouldn't even put on an SUV.....

Yeah. I have to say its rice, definately if i saw this on the street somewhere I'd have to take a pic and post it on HAN for all us to laugh at.
BUT. teh "euro" look is pretty much what we would consider ricey. Notice read any MaxBoost and look at the rice in their. Unfortunately when it comes to modding everyday run-of-the-mill cars (i.e. other than BMW's, Mercedes, etc.) in Europe thats the look and they do not consider it to be rice. The more work thats put into a car especially if its not functional, the more respect it gets. The mentality of "euro"peans.
