Default Weak Stereo

What have you done about the weak stereo? I know you can just get a new HU but then the controls on the left won't work. Would adding an amp to the stock setup help? If so how many amps?

I added 5.25" speakers to the rear panels, didn't cut my stock harness at all.

go to: http://www.keedyweb.net/honda-s2000/...-speakers.html to see how I did it.

I'll preface by saying I've gotten over the time in my life when I wanted/needed huge booming stereos (had 1-2-3 too many stolen from me) but this adds a LOT of sound to the cabin, especially with the top down. Dash controls and fader controls are still fully functioning. Just in case you aren't aware your stock radio actually does have 4 channels just 2 of them are used in stock form.

You could put an aftermarket head unit in and still make the controls on the left work. I've seen it done before.

They make a harness that allows you to use the left hand controls for the radio. I installed an Alpine in mine.

This is the wisest advice. Replace your stock speakers and you'll be amazed at how much better it sounds.

Default Dash Control Interface

For the harness that allows the left hand dash controls to operate aftermarket units goto http://marketplace.s2ki.com/ and look for modifry's DCI (Dash Control Interface)
