Default Throtle Angle Sensor - common to other hondas?

Can anyone tell me if the Throtle Angle Sensor on an s2000 is the same part fiited to any other hondas - mine's been broken - and the local honda dealer tells me he can only supply a new one as part of the whole throtle body assembly cost approx £500 ($800?) - I can't find a scrapped s2000 to get the sensor off - but may have more luck if another older model uses the same sensor - anybody any ideas which models to look at?

This is a real pain in the a$$ for a small potentiometer which should cost less then £20

Thanks

I can't check for you right now, but you *may* want to see if the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) is the same as an Integra Type R and a 1999-2000 Civic Si. I'm almost positive that it is, but you'll have to look up part numbers.

If worst comes to worst, I'd suggest buying an aftermarket throttle body if you're going to end up spending that much. Get the 70mm Spoon throttle body. It comes with all the sensors.

(note: you may also want to become a member over at www.s2ki.com. there are a lot more S2000 owners over there that my know.)
