Default Need Help! (Must have S2000)

Thinkin' of buying an S2000 but can't afford the new '02 version. Any tips on where I could pick up an '00 or '02 S2000 (I live in Vancouver, B.C. but I am willing to pick up the car in the U.S.).

Also, is there any thing I should look out for when buying a used S2000?

You know of the changes between 00, 01 and the 02 models right? You get a glass rear window for the 02, and some other stuff (better audio, leather knob, better transmission). I say, save up a little bit more and get a 02. Either way, you won't regret it

The suspension and transmission are also alot sharper...and a 00 or 01 may only save you 2 or 3 thousand.

I don't know how the pricing works in the U.S. but in B.C., a brand new S2000 runs for $49850 CDN but I can pick up a '00 Silverstone S2000 for $40-$42000 CDN. Plus, with a buying a privately owned vehicle I save 2 taxes (provincial + luxury sales tax).

I actually got another question: This might sound stupid but when did the transmission change from 5 speed to 6 speed, or has it always been 6 speed? (I hear different things from different people)
