Default Hard Tops?

I've seen some pictures of hardtops on the S2K, Is that a mod aquired from the factory? of is it an aftermarket mod? Also, how hard is the installation, DIY type of deal? And does the removal of the old top need to come off in order to fit the hardtop? Thanks for looking

You can get the hardtop from the Honda dealership, or you can order it from www.hondaaccessories.com Also, Mugen makes a carbon-fiber hardtop, but I think it's about $5,000.

to answer your question, no mods are needed to install a hardtop, it comes with all necessary parts...it is NOT aftermarket, but like the previous poster said, mugen is after market...it takes 2 people to put the hardtop on, i helped my friend, purt easy

around $2600-$3000. i'd get it from www.handa-accessories.com', 'cause www.hondaaccessories.com' isn't a real site...haha.

i have one, and it's really cool. i did the installation myself with a friend, and it took about two hours.

Handa? lol that's a great link on H parts. Do you know if it replaces the softtop? or just goes over it?

you fold the soft top down into the roof well (where the top always goes down when you lower it), and then you put the hardtop over it, and secure it.
