Question about torque?!

Im also thinking of buying an OLDER S2k.. I was wondering though why Honda produces all of there cars with such low torque, especially on the S2000. Is there a good reason?

A small displacement, high-revving, relatively short stroke, n/a 4 cylinder engine is naturally going to have lower torque.
