Default Snow

Seriously thinking of picking up an S2K as a year-round daily driver in Michigan. Anyone daily driving through snow?

I think it's perfectly fine if you have a set of winter tires and the softtop is a 02+ (for the refroster). Get a set of nice winter floormats and never rev the car over 4k. Take the transit during really big snowstorms. With that said I store the car during winter. h:

i don't think it'd be that good of an idea-- plus if you had the cash i'd probably be a better investment to store it and get an old beater for winter--

as for snow-- RWD and snow are fine as long as you have the tires for it. the problems will only arise when you are giving it too much gas for the traction you have, and you'll most likely only have problems if you hit ice or that nasty slush with an extra layer of snow.

just for the love of god if you are going to do it. do it right. get a set of good snow tires--

the dunlop wintersport m3's i have for my teg are amazing and i'd suggest them over anything else, they drive like summer tires, but i have never seen a tire cut through the slush like them either.

I wouldn't ever try to drive it in snow...but that's me.
