Default 6th Gear RPM's

Hey all, I'm new here as I've just purchased my '02 S2000 on Friday. I was wondering what the normal RPM's were for 6th gear at 70 MPH? Mine seem a little high to me.

I'm not sure with MPH, but at 100km/h i'm at around 3500+ if I remember correctly.

RPMs are very high in this car on the highway, try to drive at the speed limit in the slow lane and not behind big trucks. Less stone chips.

thats what comes along with a high redline... the gears are pretty close ratioed to take advantage of the high end horsepower

I'm at 3,900 RPM at 70, so that seems to be good. I love the surge on demand though, and the fact that I'm still getting 30 MPG anyway.

Not highway, just general driving. 1/3 of my daily commute is highway, the other 2/3's is stop and go traffic. The last time I counted, there are 52 or 55 stoplights between my house and work.

Not that unreasonable... I get 27 if I stay out of VTEC range... not that that happens every tank mind you...
