You missed the biggest change, s2k...they revised the suspension. From what I've read, it is a much more capable and solid car than it was.

It was also grinding in reverse. those bulletins only came out because ppl that bought the s2000 cars started to ***** about the noise in the tranny and that it makes noise going into reverse.
I guess they thought it was a lexus or something. lol. The rear window can be put into the older cars if that is what your buying the newer ones for. Honda says it's o.k and fits. Matter of fact I read it in a service news a couple of months ago. If the guy in the earlier post ever drove an S2000 he would know they handle like a racecar and it doesn't matter what year it is. They're nice in the corners and they rock on the freeway. They suck stop light to stop light.

actually hondatech, the 2002's are alot nicer than the 00-01's...the 2002's handle nicer and have more amenities (nicer shift knob, glass rear window, tweeters in the door, leather central tunnel).

Torrance, Calif. 09/07/2001 -- Going into it's third model year on the market, demand for the S2000 has never been stronger. Sales this year are running 50 percent ahead of 2000. Slightly improved availability could allow for S2000 sales of about 8,000 this year.
The 2002 S2000 offers a number of refinements that have been high on customer "wish lists." Those features include:

An improved transmission for smoother and quieter shifts
Upgraded stereo system (30 watts per channel from 20) with door-mounted tweeters, an anti-theft feature and silver face plate
