Any internal mods required for superchargin the S2K
thinkin bout getting a s2000. and for the s2k im going to get the vortech charger...i like to push all my cars to the edge..but if i was to run her on a 12psi high boost pulley, would it require internal mods?
be prepared to spend BIG $$$$. As i am starting to find out EVERYTHING for the s2k is expensive. Im sure if you had a REALLY good tuner you MIGHT be able to squeeze 12psi out of it. But i seriously doubt that it would last very long. more than likely you will have to build the bottom end to boost that much or more.
I probably wouldn't run a stock blocked s2k to 12psi...it COULD be done with the right setup, fuel management, and engine management...and an awesome tuner. But, who knows how long it would last...and there's a small margin of error there.

I have the right setup and currently I'm pushing 13 psi with a Vortech.
As far as AustinS2k2003's post, the Vortech can flow 1000 cfm where the Comptech Novi 1000 only flows 850 cfm.
It is all dependent on the tuner.
