Just throwing this out there, if going to a dealer to buy oil filters honda recommends the bigger filter I can't recall the part # right now, but it is the same size as the older honda filter. Obviously it flows more for the highr rpms.
Don't use the smaller one.

 

S2000s are entitled to the bigger filter, so no worries.

 

That is just it I am saying if you don't know that, and plenty of lube guys don't you could be riding around with a smaller oil filter than recommended. It would pay to pop the hood and check for yourself. (Plus I am going to start using that filter on my R.)
