dude i dont think its whp....or the s2000 should be making "about 275" at the wheels...give or take my bad math. its flywheel hp cuz the chart is well into the 200s and im sorry a stock 2004 s2000 doesnt make that much hp...even tho i wish it did.... :-/

 

Actually, it does. It makes in the neighborhood or 280 FWHP. Obviously those are not fly wheel dyno's...they wouldn't take the engine out of an s2000 to test it.

Acceleration changes reflect the extra 40 horsepower.

 

Honda may possibly wait until '06 to make changes at all. Dont hold your breath for '05.

 

im sorta confused ... why would honda give a 240 whp figure out when 280 or what ever would sound so much better. i mean c'mon ...then ppl would look at the s2000 more seriously when looking at the rx8 and the 350z cuz well.. i mean i would atleast. i dont know ... im confused cuz they dont do that to any other car i know of...

 

i think honda has underrated cars before....not sure tho

 

well cant prove ya wrong cuz i have yet to find another stock s2k dyno chart to do so...so ... you win... damn..hehe jk. but looking at all those dyno charts...are making me anxious for spring to arrive so i may buy a new s2k

 

well just because i am weird and i remembered this thread and what not i noticed that in the new sport compact car this month features a road test of a new 04 s2000.... now check the dyno chart...they ALWAYS have whp figures...now its like 200 hp ...so i think that 240 is a flywheel figure...whoever's got that other s2000 must have mods cuz well... its makin 240 at the wheels i guess
