It also happens to me. The car becomes really unstable when you stab the brakes at high speeds.

Weird, Chase was pushing 130 and we braked semi-hard and the ass end slid out....weird.

I think most cars will do that under moderate braking at high speeds...:dunno: You've got to be sportin some massive rotors and 4 piston calipers for more sturdy braking. The brakes aren't the best in the RSX. They suit just fine for normal to performance driving but beyond that... you won't find many cars in that price range or even a little higher with real sport brakes...

What do you have for tires? The stock Michelin's suck, even though they are V-rated (speeds to 149mph). Although I must say I never had any experiences of the car getting squirrely under high speed braking.

Check the torque on the lugs if you think your rotors are warped, shouldn't be higher than 80 lb-ft. Most places that put wheels on cars just use the torque sticks, and may over tighten.

When we had the braking problem, he was still on stock tires.

upgrade to Brembo, Wilwood, or AEM. That will take care of it.
