Default Main Exhaust Post

This is the post....everyone who owns an exhaust on their RSX

comment on the gain/sound/look....also if you have a pic of your

exhaust, post it. Also say if you regret it because I

bought a Tenzo full cat on my prelude (my previous car) and I

hated it (too loud and tiring after a while).

I have a Tanabe Hyper Medallion full cat on my RSX and I love it. It's not too loud at all. The exhaust I had on my integra wasn't a Tanabe and that thing was the loudest thing ever, set off car alarms and crap, I hated it, heck someone rode in my car and said they got car sick fromt he vibrations of the exhaust..but this exhaust on my RSX is great!

5Zigen fireball, the quietest on the market for the RSXS. Looks nice too, easy to install.

I think meg82 is right...I thought the Tanabe's were loud!!! I'm not sure on an RSX but I thought generally speaking they are pretty loud. Not to keep on dissin, but I also thought the 5zigen was pretty loud. The only exhaust that does a good job on giving a nice throaty low pitched tone was the Greddy. Now I'm not 100% certain but I know for the most part they are pretty quite.

i was a afraid of that too. my housemate has a 5zigen on his accord and its pretty loud and ricey but its very different for the rsx. the greddy and the comptech you can hear very distinctly inside the cabin. the 5zigen the tanabe and i believe the power getter are very good at keeping out cabin noise so you can imagine they are quieter on the outside as well.

Power Getter exhaust - It's not terribly loud, kinda quiet actually (that is, until I put in the race header ). It now drones just a little when cruising on the highway, but that isn't really an issue since I play my music at too loud of a volume anyways. Lookswise, it's just like any other exhaust with a 4" tip - it screams at you "Back off cuz I got me a grapefruit cannon!" No fitment problems. No banging against the swaybars or melting the rear lip. As far as gains, the butt dyno registers some gain, but how much exactly I can't say. Now after the header went on, there were some definite gains.

I'm putting in my vote for the Fujisubo Powergetter as well.
Just a great all around exhaust in every aspect.
