Default Cold Hesitation

Sometimes I can't wait for my car to warm up, because I'm late for work already. I like to drive it slow to warm it up, but when I shift from 1st to 2nd at about 3K, the car hesitates when I let out the clutch. Is this because my computer is still in closed loop mood, and it can't deal very well with the change in load? When the car warms up I have no problems. Oh ya, its a K20A3, not the type S.

My car has the same problem, and it is a S. it just needs to warm up more. I don't think it is in the ecu though.

Haven't encountered what you speak of yet in Jens. Then again usually I'm not there when the car is cold and first started. But when I have been there I have never noticed that. Thats a good q, I wonder what actually causes the hesitation?
