Rotten Egg Smell
I'm noticing a rotten egg smell when I get out of my base 2003 RSX with about 300 miles on it. Anyone else experience this? Know what it is?
Thanks.
P.S. No, I don't eat a lot of beans.

It is your catalytic converter. It will go away in a while. The rsx has some emissions crap on it. My type-s has about 7k miles on it and I still smell it everyonce and a while when I am stopped.

One of the by-products of burning unleaded fuel and then running the exhaust gasses through the platinum in the catalytic converter is Hydrogen Sulfide gas (rotten eggs gas). You also get water.
