Default Which Car?

Which car should I get given I can afford both, but with the higher car payment it might take longer to save money for mods.

I think you should get the last option, simply because the factory kit looks great. With the kit out of the way you can concentrate on rims, and motor mod's soone  .

Well, the Si is weaksauce. Way softer than the other two.

Now, the FP Package is worth the $4600, if you can afford it. R&T called it the best handling FWD car they've ever driven. You won't need any more suspension mods, believe me, and it comes with beautiful 17" rims and sticky tires. Plus, it's all waranteed for 4 yrs/50k miles! If you can't afford it, I think you'll be plenty happy with the Type-S version

how much money do you think it would be to buy all of the "rsx type-r" things aftermarket, like rims, spolier, lip, and lower the car? more than the fp package?

Why spend the money on the Factory Performance package and get rid of the rims? They are about 1200 worth of the package.

The cost of the Factory Performance package is 4800 on top of the base price of the TypeS, plus installation cost. So this is going to bring the cost of the typeS up to 28K+ to 29K+.

You'll be paying close to invoice with an FP package. I'd say you're looking at $26,200 or so if you can negotiate for anything.

The FP package is a suspension modification package that will come with a 50,000 mile warranty. If you lower the car with conventional springs, you won't get OEM quality or the warranty. If you were to just buy the body kit it'd be like $900...then tack on the cost of the wheels, tires, and waranteed suspension components. It's worth it if you have the money. I ****ing hate this site, but here's a good review: http://beta.vtec.net/articles/view-a...ticle_id=69621

Buy the Civic Si. They are selling right now for $13,995 and 0% financing for 5 years. That is $6,000 below sticker price and 7 or 8 k less than the base RSX. With the money you save, you can mod the car and have something that will blow almost every car off the street.

The FPP package isn't worth the money IMO, all it offers is a look-alike Integra Typre-R spoiler, and upgraded suspension among other minor things. Plus, you'll be happier with aftermarket upgrades. I recommend Comptech parts, and get it installed by the dealer, it'll fall under factory warranty.
