Default Question about an RSX

hmm im looking to buy an rsx type-s and i was going through autotrader.com and i saw this... http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...&car_year=2002

the only thing is that it looks really different from the other "type-s" that i have seen... grill painted/headlights painted/side mirrors painted/ different rims.... why is this different? is it just modded?

Looks like it's got the Japanese Integra headlights (now that I look at them closer, I think they're knock-offs), painted grille, Acura underbody kit, tint and painted mirrors. Wheels are the same. Looks to be a nice car if you want something already modified, but half the fun of owning a Honda and being a car enthusiast is modifying it yourself.

Look out for poorly chosen and poorly done mods on a used car. The price seems a little high for a car with almost 15000 miles on it. Get a carfax report you have the VIN, our typeS is 1.5 years old and the last part of the VIN is C0011XX. So this car may have accumulated a lot of miles in a short period of time.

Nice ride IMO. I really like the white its a good start for a "Type-R" conversion. Which it seems someone might have already started. 15k miles isn't too bad, the price is a little high though. If you can talk them down I think you have a nice ride on your hands. Good luck keep us posted...
