Whats the offset for our cars? Just wanted to know for future reference in purchasing rims.

And what size tire should I be looking for if I upgrade to a 17 inch wheel?

for 17's i'd see about getting 215/45/17 or 225/45/17. you will notice 18's are easier to come by for the RSX, i found out 17's are considered "small" wheels for an RSX

But whats the offest? Why are 18's better? 17's small for the RSX? It comes with 16's.....

I believe that most people are running 43 - 45mm offset on the RSX. As far as 17s or 18s, it seems to me that would be a personal preference. The 18s with the lower profile tires are going to be a little bit rougher on the ride, but will handle better with less rollover.

My 17" wheels have a 40mm offset, and there's isn't any fitment problem. Stock offset is 45mm btw. Super S is right, 17 vs 18 is more of personal preference, but remember, 18's are more than likely heavier than 17's, especially when you slap on tires.

Let's see, some other inexpensive lightweight wheels would be Kosei K1's, RH Evolution CP8's, Velox PG-5's.. er... here's a better list. http://www.wheelweights.net
