Default Considering an Intake Manifold Delete ? Worth It?

Hey everyone,

I?m thinking about doing an intake manifold delete on my car and wanted to get some input from the community. I know it can reduce weight and potentially improve airflow, but I?m unsure about the actual performance gains versus possible drawbacks.

Will it affect drivability, fuel efficiency, or cause any check engine lights? Are there specific engines where this mod makes more sense? Also curious about how it impacts long-term engine reliability and if tuning is absolutely required afterward.

Has anyone here done this mod and noticed real benefits? Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!
