Default Is it supossed to sound like that??
i just got a short ram intake for my rsx type s and i put it on and it sounds good until i hit vtech like 6k rpm it makes a really loud ass rev like noise..sounds like somethings wrong but i had friends drive it and they looked at it and that say its normal..i mean its louder than my lawn mower...also i dont seem to get as much power with it on than the stock airfilter...?? anyone know anything?

Yes it's pretty loud when VTEC engages, that is unless you have the volume turned down on your vtech phone.

I wouldn't trust the filter it came with, get a good K&N one.

I Have An 06 Type-s An Just Put A K&n Filter On It An It Makes The Same Sound Your Talking About An Yea Its Normal...
