The horn does not beep when the factory installed security system goes off on my 2002 RSX, nor does the horn beep when the remote Panic button is hit. In both cases the lights blink on and off as they should.

Do you think this is a wiring problem or a programming issue. Service at the dealership thought it may have something to do with MP3 or XM installation ????

 

I'd check the alarm programming first. If everything is set correctly, that should point you to the wiring as the problem.

 

I have the same problem. How do you check the alarm programming?
