milage and lopsided gas tank...
hello everyone
can anyone please post their milage that they're getting off their non-type S models?
my tank is been really strange since i've bought my car in nov. 2004. i get about 350 km / 217.5 miles off my first half of my tank. then i can only get about 110 km / 68 miles off my 2nd half.
off a full tank on average i can get 470 km / 286 miles and the most i've ever been able to get is 512 km / 318 miles... is this normal?

Sounds a little low since with our RSX-s we can easily go 325 miles on a tank. The needle does drop drasticly once it gets below half a tank. We drove from 8 miles north of Ann Arbor, MI to Newmarket, Ontario, CA and put in 40 liters. On the expressways I averaged about 80 mph or close to 130Kph. The way we went the total trip in one direction was about 301 miles/485 Kilometers.

I have a 2003 base model, and yeah it drops alot faster on the last half. It's a 13 gallon tank and I think we've gotten close to 350 miles. That does seem really low. Means your only getting about 23 mpg.
