there is a clicking noise that seems to come from the valve cover. is that normal for rsx? or does it need a valve adj. thanks

Sometimes that ticking can be an injector(common issue with hondas) or a need for a valve adjustment. How many miles are on your car?

 

it's still under warranty.... it's my friend's car so i don'tk now how many miles on it.. but i thtink it needs a valve adjustment. he asked acura and they said that's how the engine is.... i think they're trying to get out of doing warranty work. so does this engine tick? thanks

 

most likely it's the injectors, they are very loud. Take off the cover and listen closely to see where the sound is exactly coming from.

 

if it is the injectors then is that also normal from them or should it be checked out?

 

I believe its normal for injectors to tick. If he is that worried about it, go to another dealer and have it checked out. Or at least get a tech to listen to it.
