Hey everyone, Im looking for visual differences between rsx-s and rsx
help me out please.

heres some things i know so far for the new gen (05+) rsx-s
- odo reads 160mph (rsx only reads up to 140)
- vin reads dc530 from 4th-8th digit
- 6speed tranny

any little differences would be great, please help me out

 

Between the 05+ Type S and 05+ base?

-Type S has special side skirts and lip wing
-Different exterior colour (I don't remember the colour differences for the states)
-17" 5 spoke rims vs. 16" double 6 spokes
-Slightly bigger brakes
-Some minor interior things

Type-S has a 21mm rear bar (19mm 02-04) and a front upper strut bar. Base model does not.

If you are talking about the difference between the Type S and the Base Model RSX. On top of my head of the 02-04 model

- Side Skirts, Base are not painted.
- Rotors, Type S has bigger rotors
- Engine Code: K20A3 (base) K20A2 (Type S)
- Base does not have real vtec.
- Type S only comes in Standard
- Type S has a base in the rear.
- Exhaust: The size is different, Type S has bigger exhaust.
- Color Codes: EBP and TW only comes in Base, other will have both Base and Type S.
